Biography

Budiarmanto is a corporate finance lawyer based in Surabaya whose practice sits at the intersection of legal and financial work. He regularly advises clients on cross-border M&A, joint ventures, structured finance, insurance subrogation, and the corporate vehicles required to bring foreign capital and clinical innovation into the Indonesian market.

He has acted as lead counsel for Indonesia's largest state-owned insurer on landmark subrogation and PKPU mandates, and as outside counsel to petrochemical, plastics, fertilizer, and pharmaceutical groups across Java on transactions ranging from IDR 120 billion industry consolidations to USD 25 million public–private partnership joint ventures.
