SURABAYA,10 September 2026. Integralaw acted as legal counsel for PT Sinergy Karya Bersama (SKB) in its strategic expansion and funding preparation agenda, which includes a planned investment of approximately Rp200 billion to develop its own Slaughterhouse (Rumah Potong Ayam / RPA) facilities to strengthen SKB's poultry supply chain.
In this engagement, Integralaw's scope of assistance encompassed the structuring and documentation of asset acquisitions, licensing, and the construction of the RPA facilities, as well as preparing the structures and documents required for the fundraising process. This advisory approach combines transactional legal expertise with financial analysis, positioning the legal function as an integral part of SKB's business planning and decision-making process rather than merely a compliance function applied after issues arise.
SKB is a poultry business group operating through several entities, spanning feed production, contract farming networks, cold storage, and distribution—a business model connecting partner farming networks with B2B and B2C markets. SKB's journey in the poultry industry began in 2008 with the establishment of CV Karya Carma Perkasa in beef cattle farming, before expanding into animal feed manufacturing in 2018 and developing poultry feed production in 2023. Currently, SKB's partner farming network produces approximately 1.4 million chickens per month, while Dwi Karya Loka distributes approximately 500 tons of products per month to more than 300 B2B clients, including hotels, restaurants, cafes, and retailers across approximately 40 cities.
To reduce reliance on third-party processing services while improving quality control, SKB plans to develop its own RPA facility with a processing capacity of up to 70,000 chickens per day and a targeted production volume of approximately 2,000 tons of carcasses and cut parts per month. The development is planned in phases: asset acquisition in Q4 2026, planning and licensing in Q1 2027, construction in Q1–Q2 2027, and commissioning and full operations in Q3 2027. The estimated Rp200 billion investment currently under preparation will be allocated toward facility development, machinery procurement, building construction, and working capital.
